A New Collaboration
The G.H.BASS x Nicholas Daley collaboration breathes new life into our iconic Larson Weejuns®. Elevating this classic piece, the collaboration introduces an EXTRALIGHT® Super Lug sole, crafted by artisans in El Salvador, the shoes are hand-sewn using techniques pioneered by George Henry Bass in 1876, ensuring lasting durability and comfort. Modernising the style, the strap and counter have embraced a new shape and length.
Crafting with Heritage and Innovation
Offering a choice between Navy with silver hardware and Chocolate with antique brass hardware. Crafted from a mixture of leathers, such as suede, croc, and burnished leather, creating an added two-tone effect with a brushed and polished finish. Hand-stitched with contrasting thread and enriched by a cross blanket stitch on the toe cap, the shoes are finished with golden embossed branding on the insole, these shoes pay every attention to detail.
Roots To Rebel
Part of the Nicholas Daley AW23 collection named "Roots To Rebel," these shoes made their debut at London Fashion Week in February 2023. The collection is an exploration of the evolution of Afro-Caribbean diasporic subcultures in the U.K., which laid the foundation for British Reggae and the Two-Tone movements during the 70s and 80s. The collection is also a tribute to Nicholas Daley's Midlands heritage, and a tribute to the pioneering musicians who harnessed the power of music to break barriers in the region.
